Medical Evaluation

To determine if you are a candidate for Testosterone therapy, we start with an extensive medical history and physical exam.  Certain medical conditions may preclude or complicate your potential to receive Testosterone.
  Theses details will be reviewed by your physician at our center during your initial meeting.  We appreciate that this initial visit is crucial and our policy is to allot enough time to adequately and confidentially address all medical and personal issues related to testosterone therapy.  In addition, your physician will conduct a thorough physical exam, draw blood for laboratory evaluation and determine if additional medical studies are warranted in preparing you for a personalized Testosterone program.


After this first visit, your physician will evaluate all of your medical information, incorporate your laboratory data and meet with you again to discuss your potential for Testosterone therapy.


If you are a candidate for Testosterone therapy, you can elect to become a member of the Testosterone Replacement Center and have your Testosterone medically managed by physicians who have years of experience in treating men, just like you.

 

The Testosterone Replacement center is a retainer based medical practice.  The initial evaluation fee of $500 can be applied to the annual retainer membership fee of $1,500, if you are a candidate for Testosterone replacement and decide to join our special medical practice. The retainer fee of $1,500 is paid on an annual basis, every year you are a member of The Testosterone Replacement Center.  The retainer (including the initial evaluation fee) is never covered under any insurance program.

The Initial fee will cover your first two visits.  The initial visit includes an extensive history and physical exam.  Labs drawn during this visit may be covered by your insurance (this depends on your insurance coverage plan).  Labs not covered by insurance, will be billed at an addition cost.  On your return visit, you and your physician will decide if you are a candidate for testosterone replacement. 


Once deemed a candidate for Testosterone Replacement, you will have routine scheduled visits over the year, to assess your progress on Testosterone. This will include time with your Physician and routine lab work.  You will also have access to your physician by phone or email 9-5 M-F, in the event that you have questions regarding your personalized Testosterone program.
